223 factory rifle - barrel twist

Do most of the factory rifles chambered in 223 have a fast enough twist to stabilize 60 grain bullets?

I'm looking into a small (remington model 7 or similar) type rifle for my son to shoot, but want to make sure the factory barrels will shoot 60 grain bullets (nosler partition, barnes triple shock)

or any other ideas for a small youth rifle? I'm not interested in the cheap rossi single shots or anything like that.

every one i had would do it. I had a VLS Varmint rifle before I got into long range shooting.

You should not have a problem with 60 grain bullets.

savage 12 will do 75s pretty well for me. 60 should not be a problem

The 1 in 12 twist that some bolt action varmint rifles have may not stabilize the 62 grain Barnes TSX. Barnes recommends a 1 in 9 or faster twist. You need to research the individual bullets you plan to use and see what the recommended twist rates are. The Reminton Model 7 Predator http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/centerfire/model-seven/model-seven-predator.aspx should be fine for those bullets.
