Suppressors 223 from a 308 can? Actual numbers?

I'm curious if anyone has any numbers on sound reduction of a 223 through a 308 can versus a dedicated 223 can?

You wont notice the difference. At least I didn't. I have AAC m4-2000 and 7.62 SDN6. Both worked great. If you want a 7.62 can, go for it.

Some cans sound different, but it should work fine.

Major Malfunction's forum has some numbers on it for some of the AAC and YHM 762 cans used on 556 rifles.

I use a thompson thirty on a 223 often .It is not as quiet as it is on a 260 ,but it works .

the overbore is negated by the extra can volume...
