I know some people here have them with proof barrels. Does anyone have or have experience with the factory 16” 223 barrel? I’d hate to have to spend another $900 right away to make it shoot well. I wasn’t interested in them at $3k but I’ve been seeing as low as $2400 and its tempting. I haven’t heard anything about light strikes in a while so hopefully they have that fixed.
I realize the platform has drawbacks with ar mag limitations and the proprietary nature. I have the full size fix and a handful of barrels. It’s not as easy to shoot well as a heavier gun but it’s a .5-.75moa capable gun easily, I like the ergonomics and it’s still a manageable weight when rigged out for night time.
