223
Finally stretched my 223 rem out a new personal best this week. My previous record was around 1140 yards. Barely knocked the paint off at 1400. Had quite a few hits 15-20; also quite a few misses. Didn't keep track of my percentage.
My goal is 1 mile (maybe someday); getting closer. I don't get a chance to shoot over 700 yards more than once a year.
88 gr ELD, H 4895, 2725 fps, 20x30" steel target

I have not. Hadn't actually heard of WEZ before.
Not sure where the maths limit is, but 88 ELDM g7 is purported .274, not that far off 140 HPBT (G7 .284) for 6.5CM. 6.5 CM seems to lose hit probability somewhere after supersonic transition and 1 Mile tho.

Didn't take a count of rounds to get on target. I started out at 800 yards, then 1000, then 1100 then 1200, then 1300, and then 1400.
Once I got to 1400 it took a few rounds; from memory...it was single digits. Five...maybe?
