Looking to build a bolt gun to shoot the mid 80s to 90g bullets. What twist would you recommend. I have a 26" 1:8 blank right now and not sure if that is enough twist for the round. Any advice would be great.

A few companies are producing 1-6.5 now. If your gonna buy a new barrel I would go with that. Your 1-8 will work good with the nosler based 22 if I’m remembering corectly? So now you can use it as a excuse to build 2
I have a 26" Rock Creek 1-7 and it stabilizes everything up to the 95gr SMK.
