Any one had experience with good Valkyrie brass? Can’t really find much on performance and life expectancy.

Federal Brass is junk, one ,two reloads and the primer will fall out. I have used Starline with good success
The factory loaded Federal brass has loose primer pockets the first time I go to reload it.

Well that sucks to hear, I have some factory loaded American Eagle I was hoping to reuse the brass from (when I get around to building that rifle) ☹ Guess I'll have to pick up some Starline also.
I have 500pcs sitting here to test. Will test them in the next few weeks.
That’s great, I have 200 rounds of Hornady 88’s I am going to break my barrel in with, then the reloading adventures will begin.
What barrel length/load data?
I don't have a 224V but am considering it. I've seen one other guy on a FB group claim WELL over 3000fps with the 88s. It just seems incredibly fast compared to the velocities others are getting.

Brian Whalen claimed 2850 with 88’s and over 3000 with 80’s, running a 26 inch 7 twist barrel. He was using federal brass and seemed to be happy with how it was holding up.
In the summer I was getting 2998 with 80s through my 26" 1/6.5 which I am told is is a little slower than a 1/7.
I shot it 30 times in 40 degree weather and only threw 1 case away, probably because my velocity dropped down close to 100 fps.
Every group was 1 hole, so I probably need to back my charge down in the summer.
BTW, my dope was 2.5 mils at 500.
