I have decided to get a 224 Valkyrie for longer distance plinking - no hunting use intended. All things being equal is there an advantage to getting this as a rifle vs in the AR variant? For some reason, I have felt that the rifle was inherently more accurate when getting as small a group as possible. I understand that many do exceedingly well with a quality AR when it comes to accuracy, but I would think that the quality of the trigger, etc (not to mention the skill of the shooter) would favor the rifle for steel shooting at distance. What are your thoughts?
