I had a PSA upper that I used to build a varmint rifle out of a few years ago ,20inch barrel ,1-6.5 twist , never could get it to shoot decent groups , tried several scopes , cleaned and lapped the barrel , finally put it away and went on to other projects , well last week I revised the valkyrie , and decided I'd try a new barrel , the only one I could find in stock in my price range was a wilson combat recon 20 inch ,1- 6.5 so I got it installed and went to the range yesterday , wow , what a difference a quality barrel makes, using 75 factory and 90 gr factory loads got sub moa at 100yrds , before could not get under 3inch , now to reload some 88gr ELDs.
