.243 AR question

I have an ar-15 in .223 and I want to build a new upper in .243. Will my ar-15 lower work or do I need an ar-10 lower?

In a word, No. But you could build a .243 WSSM upper for that lower. It would give you the same velocities from an AR as you do a bolt .243.

Otherwise get an AR-10 lower to build the .243 Win upper on.

No, you need an AR-10 upper. grendal or 6mm turbo for the ar15
