Just got back a day early. My hands just would not co operate in the sun.
First three rounds from the thing rang 6,8 and 1200 yd steel.
100rdslater a first rd. 1200 ryd. hit (IPSC). Cleaned my first challenging KYL. rack.
Still shoots.

How much have you had to "chase the lands"? Are you still at the original powder charge you settled in on during initial load development? Any and if so, how much velocity loss?

Use single based powders only and polish the hound out of the fire checking in the throat with VFG hard felt pellets & JB bore cleaner every 300 rounds and you'll be astonished at the bore life you get with barrel burners. I'm 2500 rounds down the bore of my 7mm-300 Win mag (195's @ over 3100 fps) and she's still a 1/4 moa rifle with no signs of getting tired. Not having to chase the lands all that much faster than with a typical non-mag.

what powder? We have guys seeing 1700-2000 rounds of NRA Highpower accuracy with N160/N165. Very cool burning powders.

Fish, I bought two pre fits so I have another. Same brass still good etc. Fat, 4831 and still have 10 lb. have SC too but have not tried it.
I do not get to shoot without great travel so this will probably hold me it looks like.

My first .243 I used the Tubb TMS rounds through it every 300 rounds and at 1880 rounds it was still half MOA rifle and good velocity. I used H4350 with it. I sold it at that round count but bet it would go quite a few more.
