Has anyone found a good load for these yet? I've played with 4000-MR and retumbo with not much luck.

I just loaded up some with R16 and hope to get some testing done in the next week or so. I'll post my results once I have some info

4831sc with cci 250's looks promising. Around 42.4 is slow but accurate. 2810 fps in a ruger rpr but low sd and shooting 3-4's. Going to try to find the high node.

On my testing I got up to 44.5g of 4831sc trying to get velocity. Over 4 grains of spread, my RPR shot 16 shots in the same hole with a Magnetospeed on it.

My load for the 243 Win with 105 RDF's ended up being 40.9g H4350 at 3030 MV. I was at .030 jump and saw no difference in accuracy all the way up to .060 jump when I worked up the load with these pills. My first RPR barrel lasted ~1400 rds. Hornady brass, cci 200 primer. SD was 3.8 last time out.

Reloder 26. It's a match made in heaven for the .243.

I had a 26" barreled RPR over 3300fps before I hit pressure. Backed it off to 3170fps to shoot PRS. Now I run a custom 6mm Creedmoor using RE26 and the RDF. I get low single digit SD's and 3115fps at 41.6grs. It's not even breaking a sweat. I'm at 1300 rounds down the pipe and I've chased the lands for the first time .006

Im checking 44.5. Seems to be about 2925 fps. Im looking at to verify sd's.

I had a MV of 2990 fps with 44.5 of H4831sc if that is what you are referring to in your post. I was mainly looking for something with more velocity than my H4350 load.

I had erosion of .025". Velocity dropped off by almost 60 fps. My RPR shows primer cratering at more mild loads all the way up through what I have listed in this thread. It doesn't really get worse at higher loads so it might be that my firing pin needs to be bushed. I just received a factory 6 creed barrel so I will give the RE26 I have a shot, literally, when working up a load for that. Thanks!

I 2nd the 4831sc. I tried h4350, h1000 but got the best velocity with 4831sc. I can push over 3000 fps but the groups opened up so back down to my best load.
Shooting a Steyr SSG-04 re-barreled with a Krieger 26in with 1-7.5 twist .

Just shot the 4831sc 44.5 length test. Got a .250, .352, .415, and a couple 5's. Running 2940fps with rdfs out of 26" rpr. Im super happy if i can stay in the under .5 land. Sd of 16 across 5 different lengths. Im going to load a couple more lengths and verify the length.

Retumbo at 48.0-48.5 also looks good. Running in the mid 2900s with a 26" barrel. Do not have good data on sds or at distance, but looks promising close.
My load now
48.2 retumbo
cci 250
hdy brass
2.199 LTO

The last barrel (24") shot 40.4 grs of 4451 and Berger 108's right at 2950. New barrel, 26" shoots the same load extremely well, but with less than a 100 rounds through it I've not yet checked the speed. All this talk of REL 26 is interesting, may have to give a try. RPR, LRI barrels.

I found a node at 40.0 grains of R16 going 2925 fps from a RPR. Not great velocity but the SD is in the single digits.
