.243 Winchester

I have a DPMS LR-243 with a 1:10 twist 20" barrel. What would be the best light weight bullet to shoot through it for varmint hunting? I have not had any luck with 55 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips, my groups stay around 1 MOA. Would 70gr Ballistic Tips work better in the 1:10 twist?

Yeah, I was thinking about getting some 70's just to see, but I wanted to see what others thought.

75 gr or 87 gr vmax from hornady

While not the most "explosive" my rifle loves the 75gr vmax. Tried the 70gr Sierra's an they did pretty good, I have a partial box of the 70s, if your interested could trade ya some 70's for some of those 55s if ya have any left.

I've got a 6BR with 10 twist that really likes 87 V-max.

75 or 87 V-max would be worth a try in your 243.

I'm going to get some 70's and see how they do, I'm just not sure if the twist rate is not good for 55 gr or what.
