My Savage Model110 shoots great with factory Federal loads of 117 grains in FMM.
I'm loading my own now. The factory loads measure 3.02". I made a dummy round and chambered it in my gun, and that length is 3.21. Max is supposed to be 3.25. Am I ok to use this length that fits my gun ? I'm using Hornady SST 117 gr., it has a crimp indentation that is exposed at this length. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes you're fine to shoot it long with the cannelure showing. I just picked up a thousand pack of 117s on the cheap...I should get around to shooting my test loads.
