for those using the redding bushing dies, what size bushing are you guys running in remmington AND lapua brass, bolt and semi?

I have been using a .286 just wondering if its too tight.

When you guys measure the inside of your bushings, are you getting a smaller value than that listied on the bushing? I am, just wondering if its my micrometer or the bushings measure out smaller.

I just ordered a .288 for Rem brass use after searching and reading a bunch of older threads. Seemed like most use .288 or .289, and I generally favor a touch more tension if I'm not sure and have to choose.

.286 would be .005 NT with the numbers most have for Rem brass... a little tight for me.

Loaded up 600 rounds for a buddy who bought RP brass and the .289" and .290" TiNi bushings.

I ended up using the .290" bushing for the majority of them.

.286" would be about .005"-.006" of tension and too much, IMO.

No turn neck on a Schnieder built Rock/Surgeon/AICS/Jewell rifle.

    for bolt or semi?

do you think .290 for 243 lapua necked up to 260?
