260 Rem gas gun

Just returned from the range. Tried 38.8, 39.2, 39.6, 40.0m and 40.4 of N550 and 139 Scenars from a JP rifle. The 40 and 40.4 gave the best groups with avg. velocity of 2528 and 2570 respectively. Is the velocity enought or should I try for more.

What was your barrel length? That seems quite slow to me.You should be up there in the 2800fps range.It's prob the powder.Try Reloader 17 or 4350 or N-560 or N-160
