I have a rem700 in 260ai, Kreiger 1:8 30” 4 grove, shooting Hornady brass, Berger 140gr hybrids with H4350. I shot a ladder test at 340yards starting with #1 at 41.6grs of powder and worked up to 46gr. Bullets 1-5 confused me a little and 4 was no where to be found but pieces so not sure if it tore apart. After bullet 6 they started responding as I expected and got a nice node at bullets #10-11-12. Guess just looking for some suggestions of what might have happened for 1-4/5. My chrono(magnetospeed) wasn’t working as I believe it was too far away but didn’t want to mount it to the barrel so can’t say where I was for speed. Could 1-4/5 not have been stabilized? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
