Anyone have any guesses on what the muzzle pressure of the new .277 Sig round will be?

80K chamber pressure and a 16" barrel....

Will our cans take it?

I've been wondering as well, playing with Quickload, it seems that the faster powders that would give top velocity in the blown out .277-08 case at 80 ksi help a bit. From my wag, the muzzle pressure of a 16" .277 Fury should be close to that of a 19"-20" .300 Winny with top end 180gr loads. I'd assume that the 25-30 gr less powder the .277 would likely be using should lower the total gas volume and help some as well.

16" is going to be the barrel length folks care about, at least at the outset, as the only rifle offered in the cartridge will have a 16" tube with no option to go longer.
