28 Nosler info wanted. Magazine question.

Hey guys, I am building a 28 Nosler with a Christensen Carbon Fiber 26" barrel on a Stock Remington Long Action, It has the magnum bolt face for the Nosler. I was going to go with a Gunwerks Clymr Carbon Fiber stock, I was going to order the Stock remington slip open hinged floor plate and internal box mag, my question is do I need the Magnum Internal mag setup or the Ultra Magnum, had several people tell me the Magnum and several telling me the Ultra, I would think it would be the normal Magnum but not 100 percent sure. any comments appreciated guys. thx

Ultra mag for sure. I would go the wyatts route and get the MBE-3 with XL follower. That is what I ran and it feed flawlessly.

I’m not familiar with the Wyatt bottom. Gunwerks only offers inlettinf for Remington 700 bottom metal, ptg and badger.

Wyatt’s is the internal box, it’s longer than factory so you don’t run into magazine length restrictions. The inlet you speak of is for the BDL hinged floorplate.
If you end up running the Wyatt’s internal box , your gunsmith will modify the action to accommodate the longer internal box.
