Yes, because of the sharp shoulder, the cartridge is prone to being off-center as it is being pushed into the chamber.
This frequently requires work on the feed rails, the underneath side. I had, (still have, come to think of it) a Ruger that consistently jammed and it took me a while to figure out it was only one side, the second and fourth cartridge would not feed reliably. Requires grinding or filing until you see improvement, very slowly but don't be afraid of it either.
I own six Ackley's so I can say with confidence that it is the rare gun that doesn't need some attention in this regard. BB
