Well my 280 is currently being built. In the meantime anyone handloading for the 280? What components are you using and what Kind of velocity are you achieving?

all my 280's love the 139-140 range. 3050-3100 fps at 4700asl

Nice! I can't wait to get my hands on it, I'm pretty pumped! Is pushing the 150 VLDs at 3000 fps possible? Also what kind of powder works best in your experience?

haven't tried the 150's... the 140 range seems to work best in the 280's I have been around. Not saying they wouldn't work well, I am just a not broke don't fix it kinda guy
I use H4831SC in all mine. It loads great, meters well, single ES and SD's. Great temp. stability. etc.

Sounds good! Thanks for the info. I am insanely jealous of your home state by the way! I would love to do some hunting out there! I'm planning on a Idaho elk trip sometime in the near future!
