I loading 6.5 PRC ADG brass . Its been loaded 3-4 times . Unsized neck measures .296 so I run it into FL die with .290 bushing and it comes out measuring .296 !!!! What's going on ? I know my die is set correctly .

Are you screwing the die stem down far enough to hold the bushing down? It should have the tiniest amount of float. Is this a Redding bushing? Is this a bushing change, or everything is exactly the same as it was for the previous loads?

BULLSEYE ! That's exactly what the problem was ,what a fundamental blunder .The die stem wasn't screwed down enough Thank you very much.

What are you throughts on the adg brass? I'm building a 338 rum for a friend, and brass is pretty much non existant other than nosler and adg.

It is better than nothing but certainly not Peterson brass. I mic'd necks with .001" of neck thickness variation. When I skimmed the necks to .014" there was a bunch the cutter only touched half the neck.

Gotcha. Well I'm pretty limited on selections right now. I doubt he will shoot 100rnd a year so I may just run with that until something changes with the availabilty of components. Thanks!
