All true, but isn't it generally accepted that if you take your gun from point A to point B that if you pass through point C it doesn't matter if the firearm is banned, say an SBR, so long as you don't use it? Is it not also true that people are saying that the feds forcing to to buy something is unconstitutional? If the SC rules that way, then DC has no recourse in not wanting you to transport by foot an unloaded rifle from Va to Md and back via the bridges providing access. There are still no loaded weapons, but at least that's something you might be able to get 10K people to do as a real march that sends a message... and I would assume secure ammo, which on a person would be a pocket or backpack, would also have to be protected so long as you were within the law of Va and Md.
I'm not into throwing stones across the river or protests in general, but if there was enough people behind something like that I might get at least a family member or friend to go do it.
