Anybody try this combination yet? Getting ready to try it with Berger LRT 175's. According to QuickLOAD ... it looks pretty good. 100% fill and 100% burn at about 59gr with 2625 fps velocity. The numbers actually spec out better than the Accurate 4350, MagPro, and IMR 4831 that I have as powder alternatives. Thoughts ... Experiences ... Advice ???

Did you call Berger and ask for load data? They have a lot of unpublished data. They'll give you start/max charges and velocities, given that they have any for that cartridge/bullet.

I did, for several other bullets I use. I learned a secret from chatting with them. They use QuickLOAD to determine the majority of their load recommendations. And where they have independent numbers either through test or recommendation ... they verify via QuickLOAD prior to publishing them. It's one of the reasons I bought the software. It's awesome to get good starting points for load development, and thus far for my 6.5-CM and 300-WM testing, it's been remarkably accurate.

Oh wow, that is really cool to know. Thanks for sharing! I'll have to take a look, and see about some of the loads they've given me for 6.5 CM.
