30-.06 minimum OAL?

Intermediate length milsurp action, maximum magazine OAL is approx. 3.08".
Could the .06 be loaded to this shorter OAL with lighter 150 hunting bullets (RN perhaps)?

Anyone aware of any factory ammo that doesn't exceed that OAL?

I shoot Hornady FTX(30-30) 160 grain bullet at 3.085" COAL . I duplicate 30-30 Winchester velocity with a reduced load of H4895 . I have never tried to push them faster, but will say there was plenty of space for more powder in there . Works great for shots up to 150 yards so far ,as far as I can see where I hunt .
