I shot some today at 200 yards from an actual light weight AAC 16 inch upper-based semi auto rifle, not a test barrel. 1.25 MOA average of two, 10 shot groups.

Compared to an M24: According to MIL-R-71126(AR), the M24 shall achieve the accuracy of 1.3 inches average mean radius from 10 shots groups of 1.3 inches or less, when using M118 Special Ball and fired from a Government approved machine rest. This shot 0.78 inches average mean radius.

Re: 300 AAC BLACKOUT at 200 yards

Ammo source and specs? (125-gr, I know.)

As a 300 BLK owner, I am interested to see how this all unfolds. Good to see Remington is taking it seriously it'd be nice if someone actually had ammo in stock.

I've been reloading Whisper rounds for awhile, most won't get into the 300 until factory ammo is available. And it ain't. Yet.

I was sent this group and he said I could post it - as I find the rifle build very interesting:

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Robert, thanks for your info & help.

I thought you might like to view the result. ... It shoots great, as you can see from the 100-yard rapidfire target that I shot slung up in prone last Thursday.

A note on the group: It's actually two five-shot groups, prone-rapidfire, using a sling, NRA Highpower style. I shot the lower 5 shots (including the nick on the X-ring at 8 o'clock, which represents 2 bullets) first. Then I reloaded the magazine, adjusted the backsight up two clicks and left one, and shot the upper 5 shots. With my long sight radius, each click is about 1/5 moa.

My load is 18 of H110, Sierra 110 Varminters (which feed fine), and a Russian primer. I'll compete with the rifle for the 1st time on Saturday morning, 14 MAY.

Thanks again for your input. </div></div>
