Trying out the .300 AAC Blackout cartridge.

I believe that a flash supressor is generall quieter than a brake. Primarily used for hunting, cant use a can round these parts, is there a flash suppressor or brake that is quieter than the rest with this cartridege, one that stands above the rest? For example AAC51T Blackout, Noveske KX3, PWS, Surefire etc. I need the sound reduction more than a faster followup shots.
The application will entaill both sub and supersonic rounds so hopefully one works better in both cases.

advice and experience is appreciated.

Thanks

Wrong tool for the job. The brake and flash suppressors are intended simply to direct the sound and blast of the expulsion from the muzzle in different ways.

Neither one empirically reduces them by a significant amount, which is what you appear to desire.

The flash suppressor is only quieter than a brake when you are measuring from the sides. E.g. the Brake is louder to those who are shooting near you on the range because the brake works by expelling some of the gasses in a horizontal direction that is less opposed to the shooter's position.

That sideways venting results in a good bit of the sound being directed sideways as well.

If suppressors are illegal where you are, what are you trying to do here that either one is going to make any real difference to you?

I'm interested in discovering if one device is quieter than another, a prticular brake or a particular flash hider. Sounds like it's just a matter of which direction the noise is directed and that neither device increases or decreases sound levels.
