Does anyone know of a place that sells a 300 NM modified case? If no such animal exists, any ideas of a work around or how best to measure max BOL length for the rifle?

Just send some fired cases to a machinist or a local gun smith. Should be able to make one for you with no trouble
Hornady also offers modified cases from your fired cases. Just need to mail in to them; instructions are on website

While searching, I found this post so I thought I would share. Copper Creek has several modified cases for sale on their website for $11, including the 300 Norma and the 6xc.
