I have a remington 700 stainless with laminet stock its a heavy gun already looking for a inexpensive way to dramatically reduce recoil can anyone help i may have posted in the wrong place if the post needs moved i understand thanks
am doing that a sims i get them free thats cheap man this thang nock the!@#$ out of you but i love the gun just trying to tame it down what eles will help.
An APA Far Bastard will reduce the felt recoil by at least half. I shot a 7WSM with one and it had less recoil than my .223 700PSS. I've got a GAP built 300RUM with a BO break and have thought about changing it out for the Fat Bastard. I believe it will be far better than the one on my rifle now. Donald
I put large Limbsaver recoil pads on hard kicking recoil rifles.
I do not sand down the pad to fit the stock.
The increased area makes the recoil negligible.
I have 308, 7mmRemMag, 300WinMag, and 338WinMag rifles that produce some pushing, but no pain, even with light stocks, hot loads, and heavy bullets.
