I hope this is the correct forum. If not, please redirect me. I am looking for land to shoot out to 3000 yards. We are doing long range shooting research -- www.npstwo.com -- We can pay daily fees, a monthly lease for three to four months. We are very safe and skilled. We will fly in for a few days at a time.

I know that the guys at Cheytac use a place in Arco, Idaho that goes that far. Give them a call if they are still around.

We have a 3000 yard "range" that is about 15 minutes from our shop. Come and use it anytime.
Don't think your 408 will make it very easily though...

If you come out to SLC, UT, you can drive 45 mins west and shoot as far as you can make something fire a projectile!

Are you talking about Wendover area? That was going to be another suggestion, I have heard of matches there in which they simply shoot into the salt flats.
You can find ton of places to shoot long distance >3000yds if you are in the west.
