Im planning on doing an OCW test for my new gun. Its a 300winmag, McMillan Adj A3-5, BAT heavy repeater action, Kreiger Barrell, Jewel Trigger, Badger bottom metal, Cerakoted. Im shooting Hornady 208g Amax 0.001 off the jam. I shot this target with 70g of Reloader 22:

I got a few targets like this, dead on, but with vertical stringing. My buddy told me that this is a tell tale sign of needing more powder? Do you guys agree?
Max load in my manual for this bullet is 74 grains. Im trying to determine where to start my powder charges for the OCW. I was thinking of doing the following:
71g
71.5g
72g
72.5g
73g
73.5g
74g
Would you guys use smaller increments? Or is this ok to start with? I only have 25 pieces of brass on hand so this is about the max amount of differing charges that I can test today. Any help would be greatly appreciated
