Any members used the 225gr ELD Match P/N 30904 in their 300wm?

First hand information on results?

Load you tried?

Thinking about giving these a try in my 300wm.

Thank-you.

P.S. I did not find anything in the Depot section, I looked prior to posting this question.

In my rifle, 27” 1-11” twist, best accuracy occurs at 2850 FPS with either H1000 or Retumbo sparked by 210M primers. I can get 2950 but accuracy sux. From my reading and talking with people who shoot this bullet in the 300WM 2850 seems to be the magic velocity in full length barrels. Brass life is short when compared with 208’s at 2950, though. Be careful as there are too many chamber variations out there and it’s easy to exceed max pressure.

FWIW, I’m shooting them with 76.5 grains of Retumbo and Hornady brass with a FGM215 at 3.615” out of a 30” Broughton 5c 1:10. They are at 2880 fps and shoot like a dream.
