OK I have never used these and am looking for what you guys have found to be the best load for the 155 Amax. Store was out of my normal 168 and 178 so I thought that I would give these a try.
How tolerant of a jump are these. I have the following to load them with. IMR 4895 RL15 CCI 200 primers and both Winchester and Federal brass. To be shot out of a 700 pss .308.

Thanks, Brian

Re: .308 155 AMAX Load

The Amax 155s are pretty good in regards to seating depth, you will find they are pretty forgiving.

They can be pushed fairly hard but its a good idea to obviously start at a safe load

with the IMR 4895 you could start at 41.0gr and work up to 45.0gr
with the RL15 you could start at 45.0gr and work up to 49.0gr compressed

What sort of powder charges have you used with good results for the 168 and 178's? This may give you a better indication of a starting point for the 155's. Maybe if your pushing the 168s with bigger loads then you could start away from a starting load for the 155's... its safe to work your way upwards tho
