Question: Do either one of these have crimped primer pockets?

If so, what's the best way to deal with this?

Thanks,

Paul

Re: .308 brass, LC Match/ Black Hills Crimped Primers?

As far as LC Match niether match or even the new M118LR has the military primer crimp. The old M118 Special Ball used standard LC M80 brass. This was not match ammo.

If you have crimped 7.62 and You didn't shoot it.......it might or most likely have been fired in a MG I wouldn't waste my time I'd scrap it for the best brass price I could find.

.223 LC most is M16 fired worth the effort.

You can get a Dillon Military crimp swager or get small reamer on a drill carefully removing the small rim.

Black Hills does not crimp its primers. If you try to use "brown box" M118 which had crimped primers, the Dillon primer pocket swage is outstanding.
