Who makes the best 308 brass. I assume lapua. I just want to start out with quality components.

I have tried Hornady, Winchester and Lapua. Lapua works the best for me.

Unless they are "drawing" there own brass now.

I reload for several calibers, but I am just now starting to shoot a 308. Been shooting for years, mostly 300 RUM. Just bought a Rem 5R and want to start with good brass. Looks like it will be Lapua. Thanks

Lapua brass is a great choice. Very well made, consistent and holds up to multiple reloads. I am on my 8th round for .308 brass with no problems.
