Im starting a load development on a rem700 to the lands is 2.951. would there be in problems with the COL at 2.950?
Using 168 A-Max
Damn Lawyer Chamber!
This will fit in Seekins Mag and had the ramp cut back so they will chamber.
should be just off the lands.

It wont be a problem. But you have to find what your gun likes. Some bullets like to jump and others like to be jammed. It depends on the gun and bullet

Bergers on the lands( use 0000 steel wool) to check when they touch. Jump sierras and amax's. use 175 or 180's over 600 yards. Do not mag feed unless you crimp and develop a crimped load. The round rocking back and forth in the magazine and will change your COL! We tested that at quantico at 1,000s many times.
