I have a dpms gen 2, with a multi lower and a 7.62 barrel. I have ran 308 rounds through it and runs well. I am reloading 168 grain hp/bt. I bought a hornady oal and modified case. What percentage from the reading should I decrease so to not overpressure? By the way it has a bull barrel.

What does your book say?

Every reloading manual I've ever read states a starting charge weight as well as an overall length.

The OAL doesn't meet to be "backed off" but you want to make sure you're not jamming bullets.

I'm guessing because the discussion is about a gas gun, that magazine length is going to be your limiting factor and semi mags don't typically allow you to run while jamming bullets.
