I just got some lapua brass for my 308 and I have never used the lapua brass before. I have always turned the necks of the other brands to get uniform thickness the lapua stuff is already uniform but it is a bit thicker than what I usualy use will I get much change in velocity by not turning the lapua brass? I use a redding bushing die to get uniform tension on the neck should I just get a bushing that is a few thousants bigger?

The Lapua I just got has a .015 neck. .015 + .015 + .308= .338 I run .002 tension on most may loads so .336 bushing but .335 would work also. Most of the brass I have to turn winds up .012 so I use .330 with them.

Do you think that will be enough? I was thinking it was closer to 1 gr between Winchester and the Nosler to match FPS in my rifle and the Nosler and Lapua are about the same weight. I just don't have my records with me to check right now.
