I need some help working up 210grn Berger VLD data since none of my reloading manuals list the 210grn projos.
I tried loading up some once fired brass from Black Hills. I am trying 36, 36.5 and 37 grn loads of Varget with Fed 210 primers and a COAL of 2.275.

Any help to make sure I'm on track would be appreciated.
Its being run through a Sako TRg-22 with a 1-10 twist 20" barrel.

    I worked a good load for my 26" 1/10,
    42.2grn varget @ 2520 fps.
That was with lapua brass and br2 primers
Bullet seated .005 off the lands.

I ran out of bullets before taking them out past 500 yards,
And moved onto amax's because the bergers are so damn
    Expensive over here!
One day I'll pick up where I left off..

Montana two threads? I'll try a search.

Varget is good with magnum primer. I can't fit more than 43.5gr in a case. Pressure more than likely at around 42 ish.

    COAL 2.275 ? typo ?

It seems that the F/Tr guys that have tried them have found decent velocities with R17, and N550, but have had temperature related velocity variation, or have tried Varget and H4895 w/ lower velocities. I do think that H4350 might be worth a check.

Re: .308 Load data for 210grn Berger VLD's

I found 46.6g n540 gave almost same VL as 49g n550 with my 185g moly Berger vld Load although id say Load was at high end of pressure curve N540 might give better results when Loading for tight chambers and mag fed OAL Loads.

Re: .308 Load data for 210grn Berger VLD's

I picked up some R17 and have some N150 on order.
My base loads using varget was really slow (about 2400ish). This was my first time loading the 210grn loads and there is no data that I could find on them for the 308 in my loading manuals.
