I have a Howa 1500 Varminter in .308, love the rig. I shoot F-Class at 300yds., and rightnow I use Win brass, CCI BR2 primers, 44gr of Varget, and Sierra 155gr match Palma pills. I stay consistently inside the 9 ring and love the load, but im now working on a 175 gr combo to try out.

Use CT's load. It's for his rig so it's unlikely to do you any good but it's a place to start. ??

I have the same rifle so it should be close. Im also going from the 155s to the 175 but my powder of choice is Cfe 223 I seam to get more constent results out of it

The best group I ever got out of my howa was with Speer 168 and groups were never over .4 smallest was .24

My Howa 308 likes this new load called ANYTHING. Seriously, a Varminter in a B&C stock and it has never turned in a group larger than .587" at 100m. Smallest was with Lapua brass, 175 SMK and 4064 powder. That group was something stupid lucky accurate, .183" for 5 shots. Average for everything is between the .3" and .5" depending on wind.
