.308 Loads help

Currently running a 22" rock creek 1-10 twist. Looking for best sub 1000 bullet. Ordering some `155 palma, 168 smk and going to try 175 smk as well. What would be my best bet for that range with that length barrel.

22" you should be covered sub 1,000 yds. The 168s are usually considered good out to 800

Got to play with your gun. My 700 5R ended up liking the 175smk better than all including the higher priced, higher tolerance, and more expensive Bergers.

Forget the 168's if you want consistancy past 6-700 yds. The 175's will do ok. There are better choices these days, ie, Nosler 175 RDF's, Hornady ELD's. I will say had screaming success with the 168TMK's at 1k but it was a very hot load.
