just wondering what brakes you all are running on your ar 308? I'm going with a JP light contour barrel and can't decide what brake to go with. I like the vg6 but I'm not sure what the diameter of it is. I think JP list their barrel at .740 from the gas block out so I want something that is around the same size. The JP comps look like they belong on a tank and I'm not sure if I like that look or not.

Spikes Tactical R2. I use one on my 308 as well as my 6.5 Creedmoor. Significantly reduces recoil. OD is just under an inch. Length is about 2.5".
