I was given a bunch of PMC .308 brass and I am going to load them, I was just curious if anyone had any personal experience with this mfg. of brass? It seems to hold just about the exact same powder as win. brass.
It's ok. Not my first choice. It tends to be soft like Federal and the primer pockets loosen after about 3 loadings. If its once fired then the second loading should be good. After that inspect carefully and maybe anneal.
Its not something that I would buy, but with the current shortages, I would use it. I've shot it in the past, but it nothing special. Mine was heavier than Winchester. Free means you don't pay, so shoot it and enjoy! Lightman
I've loaded PMC 308 brass, worked fine. Capacity wise it's closer to LC or Fed. I found it to be harder than regular Fed and it took some max loads without loose primer pockets. Good enough for range loads, but it's not very consistent in weight or length and the necks are not the most consistent for thickness, but it seems to hold up well.
