.308 recipes

hi guys,
i am rob from the netherlands
i have a Remmy 700 26" twist 1:12, grs stock,roedale comp,timney trigger, 20 moa piccatiny rail,athlon midas tac,fortmeijer biipod.
last summer I shoot in Denmark the 1 kilometer range (and hit it!!) 168 grs hornady a-max,43,5 vihtavuori n540, lapua shell, federal primer.
our next goal is the one mile!
so the question is have somebody good suggestions for a bullet recipes?

I am guessing it's a 308 correct. If so 200 grain Burger bullet do load ladder out of the reloading book

VSP had a great idea to put this up as a Sticky. Since we get SO many questions about this, this will aid everyone( esp Noobs) on a good load. Please list ALL components, twist, barrel mfgr,length, neck tension. Since we know changing any variable will alter the ultimate outcome.

I run a AI-AE 26in 1-10 twist barrel and shoot 178 ELD-M

Brass Blackhills match
Bullet Hornady 178 ELD-M
AVG FPS 2691
SD 4.9
sd 10

I shot a 1000yard match last weekend and scored 93 1x ended up 6 of 12 shooters. 1st shot 96 3x.

The Berger 200-20X would be my choice but 1/12 and that short of barrel probably going to preclude you from trying it.

My Steyr SSG-04 had 1-12 24in barrel and the heaviest bullet that shot good was the 178 Amax. I tried some Berger 185's and they were just a little to heavy could never get under 3/4 moa with those.
