308 SBR barrel question

I just got my paperwork back on a DPMS lower to put together a 12" SBR. I'm debating on purchasing an upper and having the barrel cut back, or finding a new barrel and building the upper.

Does anyone know who makes decent but not necessarily match quality barrels with a carbine profile for 308 DPMS?

I've used them several times before on AR15 projects, but everything in their catalog looks to be setup for Armalite instead of DPMS.

I'll call next week and find out.

I'm planning to play with it suppressed.

So I'll only need earplugs instead of earplugs and muffs.

I've heard Blackhole Weaponry will turn you whatever you like.
