Range Report 308 stock rifle second range trip .

Well here are the stats
308 Remington 700 20" 1 in 12 barrel threaded with a protector
HS Presision stock
Timney trigger set to 2lbs
20 MOA rail
Zeiss HD 5x25-50

Load

Did a ladder test and it put me @ 42.5 grains of RL15

I only loaded 3 of each powder charge
178 gr Amax
Base to ogive 3.185
Federal match primer
42.8 grains of RL15

I will load up more this weekend and run them thru my chrono .
Again I know it's only 3 shot group .

42.8 gr of R-15 was the sweet spot in my Rem 700P with 168 gr SMK's. Good shooting.
