I have a 1-12 twist, I am hearing conflicting information regarding using these two bullets in the 1-12 twist. It is a 26 inch douglas xx chrome moly barrel on a trued remington 700 action. Some guys are telling no, and some are saying no problem. Do any of you have experience with these bullets in a 1-12 twist?

I have no direct experience but to my knowledge, it is a toss up. A 12 twist with a 26 inch barrel might like all heavy bullets, or it might like a few, or maybe it doesn't like anything.

You have to try if you want to know.

Ideally you want your stability rating to stay above 1.4 but I have had good luck with bullets that scored 1.1, several members here are shooting 208’s in 12 twist’s but I personally have not tried it. Look up some posts from Montana marine, here is a good one.

I would go with a 1-10 for sure.

With my 20" SPS Tac and 175 is ok but heavier (180gr) is does not stabilize at all.
