Range Report .308 w/ 208gr & RL17 expected velocity?

Once I get my build put together (hopefully this weekend) I am going to start working up some loads. I was wondering what kind of velocity I could expect with the 208s and RL17? I will be using Win. brass and seating will be around 3.000". This will be shot out of a 24" 1x10 barrel. I know every gun shoots different, just curious about what to expect, anything over 2600fps would be great. Thanks for any input.

Ya I know about that thread, I was hope I could get some numbers for a 24" barrel. The velocity and barrel lengths in that thread are all over. I was hoping to get some info. for just the 24" barrel. Thanks.

2600-2650 fps is probably realistic.

I'm getting 2620 fps in my 20.5" via 50gr RL17 in Win brass, and 2675 fps in a new 26" SPS Varmint via 48gr RL17 in heavy milsurp brass. Both are loaded to 3.00" oal, and the bullets are moly'd.

My post in that thread was with a 24" 1:10" barrel.
