For some reason or another I got a wild hair for a new stock again took the 5r stock off and bought a bell and carlson medalist A2. I hope I made a good decision on this. Is anyone using this stock and how do you like it?
Thanks Bob I would love to have one of those nicer stocks just tryin to climb the ladder of all these nicks and nacks of the shooting world, maybe one day
You know if you sold that 5R stock for around $225. and put the $220 or so you spent on the B&C A2, your only $100. shy of a McMicky HTG or $200. shy of an McMicky A5, both from JWPrecision.
Tell Momma to put one under the tree for you, and not buy you all that other stuff you don't really need.
laughing... Your math makes plenty of sence to me but no one around here wants any 5r stocks, theyre all hung on mossbergs and savages lol, and I dont have a 100 post yet to sell it on here but one day i will as for the christmas present that would be nice enjoyed chatting with you and thanks for your input
merry christmas
Justin
The Bell and Carlson stocks certainly look nice. Over the weekend I had a chance to hold a friend's (he's on this board) McMillan stocks, the A3 and A5. I recently bought an AICS 2.0 but I'll tell you what..that McMillan A3 is a great feeling stock. I prefer it over the A5 leaps and bounds.
I did the swap out of the HS-P stock and sold it for $200 and found a cheap Mcmillan one on these forums for $150. I will take that every time. I'd say this new McM stock is 10x better then the HS. Happy I made the jump.
