The rifle we used for the Event Sponsor Shoot was built by us. It is our M24-308win Clone. Long Action Rem700, modified long action mag 'MP05300WM', Broughton 5C @ 22 1/2 long, Tuned Timney trigger, McRee 15MOA scope base, Sniper Tools ACI, Holland's Shooter's Supply-rail mounted level, USO SN3 3.2 x 17 ERGO/EREK sitting in USO rings, KRG-OPS Bolt Knob, Patagonia Mobile3 software, Kestrel 4500, Harris Bi Pod and a Hogue Over mold grip.
118 LR ammo.
We got bored at the close range stuff and started looking down range,,,

The tanks in the fore ground ranged 340M. Look in the circle, we found a tank, the longest shot we could find on the range.

USARMY shooter,,gave me the range call,,I plugged the dope into my PDA.

Shooter clicking in,,,,

Send it,,,,

Took 3 rnds to get the final wind call,,,

bam, 5 hits in a row on the turret, or at least what the guy said that was on the spotter scope.

A silver Oak Cluster/officer saw what we were doing, brought his kid over, we got him behind the rig, and the kid hit it too. Was way to much fun.

When I was going through Marine Corps IOC in '99 a group of guys were testing out a an/pvs-10 on one of the impact ranges where we were doing 81mm mortar training. They were setup with a McMillan 50 and a few cans of Mk211 Mod 0. Needless to say we had a fun time helping them "test" the durability of the optic by shooting at the tanks. The tube in the optic eventually broke though....
