Rifle Scopes 30mm Burris signature zee rings on .308?

I have a savage .308 and a new nightforce scope for it. My instructor really likes the Burris signature zee rings. He's big on them for some reason. Just getting a second opinion on these before I but them.

I love them!
Sure makes setting up a rifle easy.
Have several sets including one on a light weight model 70 in 300 WSM. Never had one problem. They even make offset inserts if you need to add ups.
Do I sound like a Burris commercial yet ?

I think the 30mm only have +&- 10 available and they are included.

I use them on my Savage .308. I also use the +-10 inserts front and rear to give me 20MOA more elevation. They have been great rings.

He's said another nice thing is that they do not require lapping them in. Also, that they do not scratch the $2000 scope tubes like the all steel clamps do. I like the price of them !

One more thing that I was able do to is shim under the bases for the set on my WSM.
I needed more than 20 MOA for my Burris Tac 30.
I would have needed to lap a regular set if rings.

I use them whenever possible. But I do not use my rifles hard.
They have many worth while features. I especially like the plastic insert
shims to correct for large misalignments between the scope base, rings, and barrel.
They do not mar the scope tube and seem to hold well enough.
Definitely worth the money for a try.

take a look at TPS, i have the burris zee on a 300, and they work just fine. but i like TPS a lot more, and not much more money. considering you bought a NF, spend some coin on a decent set of rings.
